REMINDER: Fall Picture Make-Up Day is tomorrow, Thursday, Nov. 30th. Students absent on the original day or students wishing to have their picture retaken can do so on Thursday.

Today during lunch was round one of the Inagural CRMS Shadowboxing Tournament. The champion will be determined in the final rounds next Monday and Tuesday!

This year our physical education department was able to bring archery to Colonel Middle with the help of the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP). Our students worked on giving and receiving corrective feedback related to proper technique for archery and successfully propelling an object with accuracy. As of 2010, over 5 million students had participated in the NASP program across 46 states. Colonel Middle has now joined 80+ schools from across the state of Maryland in offering archery to its students.

Mr. Hughes, Pupil Personnel Worker, isn't the only one pumped about CRMS' first Community Schools Steering Committee meeting that took place on November 1st. This is a new and exciting journey for Colonel Middle as the school receives the resources it needs to best serve its students and families. Many different stakeholders were represented in the meeting. Other meetings to discuss the plans will continue monthly.
