CRMS and CRHS Families,
We are experiencing an intermittent power outage at both CRMS and CRHS, which also impacts our phones. Given that the power outage is widespread and many of our families’ homes are impacted, we will be keeping the schools open, using the generator, and making adjustments as needed.
Student drivers are being released. Should parents wish to pick up their student, they may do so. However, please be assured that students remaining at school are safe and warm, and lunch will be provided.
In addition, high school finals are cancelled for today. We will provide updates as they occur.

PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE - TUESDAY, JANUARY 21: A reassessment of the roads this morning has caused us to close all schools for entire day. Icy roads, particularly in the northern end of the county, are not safe for buses to travel. We apologize for the late change.

We'll be operating on a two hour delayed opening on Monday, January 13 due to current road conditions and predicted overnight temperatures. If this status changes in the morning, all families and staff will be notified no later than 5:45 am.

This decision is based on the continued deterioration of road conditions as a result of frigid temperatures and high winds causing snow drifts. We appreciate the long and stressful hours that state, county, and town employees are working in order to clear the roads. Despite their very best efforts, the high winds and frigid temperatures continue to create significant challenges in making roads safe for school bus travel.
